Sascha is a large black female out of our original bloodlines which we loved.!  She has basic prey drive and play drive.  She loves to please her handler and is currently going through obedience training for the fun of it.! 

Sascha has come to live with us here at Sokari.  We absolutely love her and how much she reminds us of her mother.!  Sascha has been kept in fantastic condition with muscle tone to die for.  This was something that Ray Fergusson of Monash Vet Clinic commented on when we had her hip & elbow scores done recently at the age of 5.  Although keeping her fit is fun in itself due to how athletic she is....and I’m not.!  But we have fun.

Sascha scored a total of 9 on her hips with clear elbows.  Quite an accomplishment considering she was 5 when these scores were done.!  There is no sliding scale either so she was scored against the standard used for 12 month old puppies.!!!

Sascha came into heat not long after we made the move to Newcastle and has since been mated to Zasko.

The litter has since been confirmed via ultrasound and now we are just playing the waiting game until she is due to whelp around mid January 2012.

We are looking forward to this litter as we are hoping to keep a male for ourselves and have breeding homes for a couple of the females also.

The stud we have used over Sascha is from our good friends at Kovacs Kennels in Victoria.  He is an import called Zasko Vom Prielberg and hails from Rinus Bastianson's kennels.  He will bring a lot of drive and stronger nerve to the mix while maintaining the strength of bone and character we already get from this bloodline.
